Auntie Mame is back at Beekman Place in time for the Fall Season. So much to run and do and see. Our dearest friend Algernon just stopped by for a sidecar and a chat. He has been frightfully busy with his welding...something about a bridge built with a new kind of steel that will revolutionize the building industry.
Have just been dashing here and there to get Beekman Place ready for the social season. Found a fabulous find at the local Pier One of all places-Amber Candlesticks! My friend S.Wilner says that Amber is THE color for fall and she is so right. Do pop in and grab a few...they look so smart gleaming away on the dining room sideboard.
Cook(Ito) and I just tested out a butterscotch pie from Gourmet Mag. It was just too too sublime. You must check out Gourmet's website and find that SCRUMTIOUS pie-Have your cook mix one up for your weekend houseguests....It's always so nice to have something out of the ordinary for those special guests....Got to 23skidoo-late for drinks at the Alcazar with Algernon.
